On Queensday we did a try out of our new show in Rotterdam with Secret Rendezvous. Bird a Jazz venue in Rotterdam organized a really cool Queensday Blockparty. The last shows in the UK and Belgium we did just with the three of us. It was dope to play with the whole band again! Ricardo Lekatompessy bass & synthbass, Joel Dieleman keys/soundscapes, Yori Olijslagers drums/samples and Sietske leadvoals + live vocal tweaking/looping. I did the guitars and played on the Akai Mpk Mini sampled with my Juno 106 sounds that I use all the time in my studio. Yori the drummer and I synced both of our Ableton setups through WiFi for the first time. It went very well! If the band suddenly changes song structures both of us are able to remote control scenes. // How to rescue a broken 320Gb OSX formatted external IDE Harddisk with a Windows machine?//

Problem: Power Supply failure of external IDE harddisk and OSX formatted.

Unfortunately Windows doesn’t read an IDE OSX format and I didn’t have the same Western Digital PSU. Most apple machine don’t have the old IDE connections anymore.

Solution: Remove ext hardisk from case. Use your Windows machine as powersupply.

Connect the USB/IDE controller section of your external harddrive without the original PSU to your Apple machine. There you go!
